Xbox Wire’s Mike Nelson is a fan of this series, which he says now has “a significant boost in overall quality and playability – the game has never felt more fun.”
In his preview of the game, Nelson reminisces about his own teen years as a skater and how “playing a Tony Hawk Pro Skater game takes some practice — it’s practically a fighting game on wheels, where you combine button presses while pushing your analog stick in a particular direction to pull off a variety of tricks.”
Earlier in May, the THPS Fest in Los Angeles celebrated the game by providing a closer look at the level, skaters and other new features players can expect when it’s released.
And if that’s not enough info for you about the game, the latest Official Xbox Podcast gets hands-on with the devs about remastering it for a new generation, new skaters, new levels and more.
