Refund and Return Policy

🛡️ 1. Service Fees (The Price of Protection)

The Golden Rule: Our warriors fight on your behalf. Time spent guarding your gates cannot be “returned.”

  • Services Rendered: There are no refunds for labor, managed services, or consulting once the work has been performed. The arrow has left the bow.

  • Time & Materials: Unless a specific scroll (Order) says otherwise, all work is billed based on the time our smiths and sentinels spend on your systems.

⚔️ 2. Invoice Disputes (The Council of Reckoning)

If you believe a scribe has erred in the counting of coins on your invoice, you must speak up before the Payment Deadline.

  • The Process: Send a raven (written notice) detailing the error.

  • The Resolution: If we find our count was wrong, we do not hand back a bag of silver. Instead, we issue a Credit to be applied against the next moon’s battle (the following month’s invoice).

  • Silence is Acceptance: If you do not dispute the invoice before the deadline, the debt stands as written.

📦 3. Hardware & Equipment (Weapons & Armor)

We are strategists, not merchants of used steel.

  • Defective Gear: If a shield (hardware) fails, we rely on the Manufacturer’s Warranty. We will aid you in summoning the manufacturer for a replacement, but we do not fund the replacement ourselves.

  • Returns: Hardware purchased through us is generally non-refundable once ordered, as it is forged specifically for your battle needs.

  • Obsolescence: If your equipment is too old to hold the line, we may designate it “Obsolete.” We are not liable for the failure of rusted armor you refuse to replace.

đźš« 4. Breaking the Oath (Termination & Cancellation)

You may choose to disband the Shield Wall, but you must do so with honor.

  • 30 Days Warning: You must provide 30 days’ advance written notice to terminate the Master Services Agreement (MSA).

  • The Cost of Silence: If you ghost us without notice, the contract remains in force, and the gold is still owed.

  • Early Escape: If we raise our rates by more than 10% in a single year, you have the right to leave without penalty—provided you notify us within 30 days of the rate hike.

  • The Off-Boarding Ritual: If you choose to leave, transferring your data and keys to a new provider is a billable project. We will not bar the gates, but we will be paid for the time it takes to open them safely.

đź”’ 5. Suspension of Services (The Closed Gate)

If the gold stops flowing, the Shield Wall falls.

  • Suspension: If you fail to pay, we may suspend services after 10 days’ notice.

  • Reactivation Fee: To rebuild the wall after a suspension, you must pay a Reactivation Fee equal to one month of service. Do not let it come to this.
